Programmes

OM22 is delivered with 6 pre-set programmes directly accessible by 6 pushbuttons. These programmes are established according to user needs and are loaded into the instrument from a PC via RS232. Each programme defines the range, current (type and value), number of measurements per cycle and timing, storage (or not) of values, temperature compensation if needed, calculations of heat-up in degrees, or calculation of line resistance in W/km, alarm values, maximum measurement voltage, analogue output.

The OM22 can be delivered programmed by AOIP to the user’s specification. These

programmes can also be loaded or modified by the user with a PC, and this task is

facilitated by the programming software developed by AOIP.

26 000 counts, 16-segment illuminated

LCD, 11.5 mm high, alphanumeric characters for messages, measurement indication includes value and unit of measurement.

Incorrect connections or measurements going beyond range are indicated by an error message.

This Milliohmmeter comes with a big 3½ positions LCD display that shows the measurement values, which is very easy to read. With the Milliohmmeter you will be able to measure electric resistance form 100 μΩ a 2000 Ω.To obtain measurement values, a constant electric current is introduced inside an object to test the voltage drop in it. Milliohmmeter has a housing protected against water splash and also it is delivered calibrated. If you wish, an ISO calibration certificate can be requested.



Functions and uses of the digital Milliohmmeter: 

- It can be used to measure electric resistance in engine coils, generators, transformers, commutation circuits, for instance in parallel or adjoining commutation circuits, compressed commutation circuits or commutators and relays. 

- To measure binding energy in mines, planes, boats and also for both industrial and home installations.

- Pitch control in cyclic systems (Ringbus) to be used in industry and home. 

- To test and measure Read contacts.

- Compression elements control in over line current cables, for the control and maintenance ofcomponents such as connectors, contacts. 

- Security: IEC-1010-1; CAT II 20 V

When the yellow protective cover of the Milliohmmeter is removed, you will see the cable connection block. An adapter is included to connect to the mains and also there are four grafts (2 green and 2 yellow grafts) to connect control cables. This tester has a double tap. Connections lay out (according to the function: ground meters) can be found at user's manual (see above).
